This dog racing track (not buses) opened in 1993 and ended up being the last live greyhound racing track in Texas. After December 31 2015, the track closed its doors, not because of running afoul of new laws or bowing to pressure from animal rights group...the popularity over the years had declined and it was unable to stay profitable. For many following years the track operated as an events center with the ability to bet on races at other tracks however, the park finally closed for good in 2020.
