The plaque is mounted in honor of the cadets and the flight instructors of the Pyatigorsk' airclub. They were defending their Motherland from fascism during the Great Patriotic war 1941 - 1945. They became Heroes of the Soviet Union: the list is 13 names. Glory to the heroes of the Fatherland.
