Historic site of unsolved murders. Witnesses accused Cullen Davis, but he was found not guilty in a historic court case. It's been said that he would have been found guilty if he was not so wealthy. He was able to afford the most expensive defense team, and therefore beat The State of Texas in the case.

  • This is the door that was first entered the night of August 2nd, 1976 when Priscilla and Stan Farr returned home.
  • I worked for Cullen for 15 years. Guilty or innocent? Your guess is as good as mine, but the statute of limitations has passed and it should be let go. If he did it, he'll pay; in the meantime, I'm sure if he's guilty, he's had to live with that every day since. Would you like to live with knowing that the twilight years of your life were ruined because of this and know that you can't even die and leave it behind? I sure wouldn't.
  • Umm, there is no statute of limitations on murder. But since he was acquitted on the murder charges, he can't be tried again on them.
  • Ummm, he was never tried for the murder of Stan Farr....just Andrea Wilborn.
  • Rumor has it that there are underground tunnels at that house.
  • umm, why would he be tried for stan farr's murder. i thought stan farr was just injured and that the little girl and a visitor were murdered
  • Actually, I am writing an article on this story, and I've done all the research. I live in Fort Worth & a friend of mine lives in the Stonegate aparments. I am not kidding you...when you go to visit these apartments, there is a security guard in a building outside of the gate that asks you for your name, drivers license number, license plate #, make, model & color of car & the name, apt # & phone # of the person you are there to see. Rumor has it...it's b/c of the murders in the Davis (now Stonegate)mansion...It was the 12-year-old, Andrea Wilborn, that was murdered execution style and Stan Farr. The man visitor is the one that was shot in the spine, and is now crippled for life. The woman visitor is the one who made it out to the street to wave down a passing car for help.

  • i have been in that house before. there are tunnels that go underneath the house . and a secret room in the garage. bet u didnt no that
  • I was at the Heights graduation party for Dee Davis. She showed us the tunnels and the secret room in the garage. Freakin weird, man. Ask Pat Burleson what he knows about that night at the Mansion. He knows the TRUTH.
  • I don't know who THINKS they researched the murders and is telling people tat Stan Farr wasn't murdered (j-witt82), but I would certainly think that some one who CLAIMS to know Dee Davis AND someone who "knows the truth" (TexWatson) would CORRECT that post! Get this right, because it seem we only want to remember the tragedy of a 12-year-old girl being murdered, or the "tragedy" of the lifestyles that made the murderS so difficult to prosecute, but ALL the victims deserved to be remembered: Andrea Wilborn AND Stan Farr were BOTH shot and KILLED. Priscilla Davis was wounded. Gus "Bubba" Gavrel, Jr. was wounded and paralyzed. Wouldn't someone who knew Dee Davis well enough to go to her graduation party know that? Sorry "Tex", but you've tossed-out enough names (Tex Watson, Pat Burleson, Dee Davis) that can be easily plucked from any book on the trials that you've shot your credibility. I'll just bet you know had drinks last night with Racehorse Haynes, too!
  • Not just a secret room in the garage, but a bookcase in either a bedroom or study opened to another small room. There was also a safe somewhere in the house. I think there was at least 3 secret rooms in that house.
  • I remember getting a 3:am call, from a hysterical friend, telling us "Priscilla had been shot and her daughter Andrea, was dead, also was Stan Farr. Beverly and Bubba were later married and had a daughter. Innocent people loosing their life. That was sad.
  • I literally grew up in the mansion, I was best friends with Trey Masters, now Davis. I'd spend up to a month there in the summers. I've been through the tunnels, played hide and seek as a kid, shot a ton of pool with Cullen, Trey and Chesley. If Cullen did this, he has been forgiven by God. He has turned his life around, I know him personally. His late wife Karen was a wonderful, wonderful, beautiful God loving woman...I cannot say enough nice things about her. Cullen is truly a God loving religious man. It's not a front as some have mentioned. He's in his 80's now and will meet his maker sooner than later. All I can say is what I observed when I was about 9-16 years old. Cullen was very generous, considerate and fun when we were all together. We went to church every Sunday, played pool, went to Colonial etc. He used to drive us around the property in his White Cadillac. I only saw him upset one time, X-Mas day when Trey wrecked his XR-80 motorcycle and broke his arm. That was it. in MY opinion, he is now a good man, forgiven by God for his actions.
