Beginning in 1936, Camp Munsee has served as a retreat for the Girl Scouts. For a variety of reasons the camp is now being sold. The camp lies in a glacial meltwater valley with gentle forested uplands and spring-fed wetlands that sustain a small tributary of the White River. The forested area has many oak trees. A local land conservation agency is seeking donations to purchase the property.
