Home of the Wayne County Circuit Court - Criminal Division. Opened in 1968, this 12-story building was previously the home of Detroit Recorder's Court which handled most felony cases in the City of Detroit. It was named for former Frank Murphy who served as Mayor of Detroit, Recorder's Court Judge, Governor of Michigan, US Attorney General and US Supreme Court Justice.
