  • As of December 18, 2008 Mansfield Motorsports Park will be closing it's door for the 2009 season. It started with the cancellation of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Then two days later Mike Dzurilla told the News Journal. "I dealt with the unfortunate task of telling my remaining employees that, by Christmas, they would be unemployed." This is a sad day in the racing world. This is a great short track racing facility!
