Established in Chichester in 1750, Shippams chiefly produce potted meats and seafood pastes but also created the Chicken Supreme in 1961 and the Old El Paso Mexican food range in 1984.

Shippams is now owned by Princes Foods and the factory has moved to Terminus Road; this building is occupied by New Look and luxury apartments.
