  • once a village of brahmins now reduced to few brahmins.majority of the residents or now neo rich ezhavs thanks to software industry boom and labds gifted by kerala govt few muslims christians and chettiyars also there
  • Pallassana West Village a beautiful Grammam sorrounded with full of coconut trees, green paddy field & necklessed by Irrigation supply from Malampuzha Dam. There is a Panoramic view from Vaamala to closer places/cities. West village where I born & broughtup, had a very nice time in my childhood & study days. During that period the Grammam was full with Brahmin community only. However, as the years past most them vacated/sold & moved to different part of the metros/cities for the sake of job/livelyhood. The village have around 50-60 houses of which currently occupied by very few people only. The Santhana Gopala Krishna Swamy Temple & Temple tank is situated in front of the village entrace only. Vaikunta Ekadasi, Navarathiri, Ashtami Rohini/Uriyadi are the festivals being celebrated in a grand manner.
  • I love this place I used to go to okkanamkode tank to take bath and once a year on deepawali day used to climb vaamala it's all fun.the temple tank was full of fishes at that time and water used to get purified by them Lush green paddy fields and tall coconut trees all now a dream for me as I am now in Bangalore
  • I have visited this village many years back .our relative vaithamaanidhi was the temple priest at that time. He used tp perform pooja of both the temples. One mr varanamkotte mani also known as Vella mani removed him from the village priest job for personal reason.
  • The village is so nice as a small boy I used to visit the village and sell earthen clay pots I have studied at rajas high school.senior murukkuli boys used to abuse me and after sometime I was so possessed with them and used to obey them though I know it is very bad.i lost so much of cum enjoying with them
