  • Thenzhiyil kalari is in the north-eastern boundary of Nedunganadu Province – a provincial state in the post chera kerala history. It just near to the Padavetty kkunnu, and north to Nedunganadu Muthassiyar Bhagavathi Temple on north bank of river Bharathapuzha. This area later annexed to Zamorin of Calicut in 15nth century. Thenozhi kalari had a crucial roll to protect the area from its then enemy – Vallabhas – Vellattiry. To assist Thenozhi they brought another Panicker family Vaniyamparambath and positioned a little east. Later they lost importance because Vellattiri lost power and shrinked that territory and also came under British India. Dieties:- Vigneswaran , Bhagavathi (Chandika- the Godess of War) Hanumankutty, Vattekaran, Guru, Narasimhamurthi with Lakshmi, Nagangal, Dakshinamurthi (Siva), Bhadrakaliand Kuttichathan, Sivabhuthangal and Ayudhavatukan.
