  panther hollow lake has been known as 'acid lake' by generations of pitt students due to recreational activities which often include a trip to this lake

  This lake used to have a full boat house and you'd be able to row around the lake in row boats. Currently most people run/walk/or bike around this lake as it is a nice destination/detour/or throughway for various paths.
