Monument of the great Russian composer, Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky placed here in 1954. The sculptor was V. I. Mukhin. Tchaikovsky is portrayed seated at a table with one arm conducting, an uncharacteristic pose for a composer. Its figure is placed against a metal fence with a lattice that is a musical staff with the musical notes of fragments from his most famous works including Swan Lake.
