The Zelenikovo Monastery was founded in 1832 by the then abbot of the monastery the Parthenios. Shortly after he was burned, and during the April uprising was destroyed by Turkish troops in pursuit of the detachment of Filip Totyu. The Zelenikovo Monastery is a complex of church and several residential and commercial buildings. The oldest one is from 1872 church is nave, apse and dome pseudo open porch and tower above it. In 1913 the monastery was rebuilt again, and in 1914 was consecrated the new church. The iconostasis is made ​​by Master Filip Ivanov the Macedonian, who represents Debar Art School.
