Site of one of City Island's numerous yacht & boat builders. Minneford built the Americas Cup winning 12-meter boats Intrepid & Freedom among others. The yard is now owned and operated by a boat retailer and repair & maintenence facility as well as the offices for the North Minneford Yacht Club.
