railway, rail-trail, Kettle Valley Railway (KVR), interesting place, railway bridge, historic landmark
The short stretch of the former Kettle Valley Railway line east of Brodie is one of the more beautiful sections along the Trans Canada Trail, with the railway line and the Coldwater RIver continually trading sides as each tries to gain the advantage through the narrow canyon. Here at the Brodie Loop stands a 102-foot (31 metre) through-plate girder bridge.
