  • The village is famous for Tobacco products, Major cultivation of Tobacco,Tapiacco,Rice,etc. Mainly people of Tobacco cigars industry around about 4000 worker working in this village, one of the major village of producing the Tobacco cigars in Tamilnadu a state in India. This village really very greenish village with one big lake, surround by greenish mountains and with many temple at the bay of the lake, temples such as Perumal temple,Mariamman temple and Tempadiamman temple at the bay of the lake.
