This house was originally the house of the Prime Minister of Pakistan during the period of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in the 1970s. When the new PM house was built in Islamabad, it was taken over by the army and converted to the chief of Army staff House. General Musharraf decided to stay in this house after his bloodless coup in 1999.
