The National Mausoleum (or Heroes' Mausoleum / Makam Pahlawan) was first constructed in 1963 alongside the construction of the National Mosque, and was completed in 1965. The cemetery is divided into two parts, inside and outside. Part of that is covered with a concrete dome in the form of star burst-seven houses several tombs. Star dome, each sides almost touch the ground, and surrounded the pond that separates the outside. In the centre is designed with a decorative symbol of the country, the Emblem of Malaysia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emblem_of_Malaysia ) and carving out new flowers marble from the island of Langkawi. The centre of the domed roof adorned with decorative gold colored roses.
