225-foot, 21-story Modernist residential building completed in 2007. Designed by Costas Kondylis & Partners, it replaced the 1923 Sheraton Russell hotel. The facades are clad in red brick and white pre-cast stone, with a dark-grey granite water table near the sidewalk. On the west facade, a 2-story steel-framed glass expanse surrounds the main entrance, which has glass double-doors. To the south the ground floor has a square triple-window bay and another set of glass double-doors into a commercial space occupied by a medical office. To the north there is another triple-window, another set of glass double-doors, and two narrower triple-window bays. The north commercial space is occupied by a dental office. The 2-story stone base has lightly-banded piers.
The upper floors on the west facade have two bays at the north side with sets of glass French doors opening to metal railings; there is a narrow window pane to the north of the north bay, and to the south of the next bay. Farther south are two wider bays with the same design, except that the windows next to the glass doors are wider. Both of these sets of bays are separated by white store piers with a vertical groove, while the rest of the piers are brick. The next two bays are recessed above the main entrance, and match the previous two, except that they are separated by a brick pier. There are narrow single-windows in the sidewalls on either side of the recessed area. The two southern bays mirror those on the north side of the recessed area. All of the non-recessed bays set back above the 15th floor.
The north facade on 37th Street has two wide bays in the middle, and two narrower bays at each end. At the ground floor the east end bay, and the 3rd bay from the east have only steel-framed glass doors. The 2nd floor has wide triple-windows in the middle bays, and narrower triple-windows in the outer bays. The upper floors have sets of glass doors opening to metal railings - the middle two both have a narrow window on both sides of the doors, and the outer bays have a window to one side only. The outer bays are separated by grooved white stone piers, while the other piers are brick.
At the far east end is a 1-story brick extension topped by a wooden pergola. It has two garage entrances with glass-and-metal doors.
The east elevation has a north bay with glass doors and metal railing, with a narrow window on either side. Farther back are two bays separated by a stone pier with glass doors and a metal railing, with a window only to the outer side. At the rear is a single-window bay, and an two more bays separated by a white stone pier, matching those at the front half.
The building has 106 condominium units. The large lobby has Crema Marfil and Oro Toscano marble floors and surrounds, Moazamique wood walls, oil rubbed bronze accents, and a package room with delivery refrigerator.
