Premier Cables was well run private company manufacturing underlying cables. These were exported to several countries outside India. All of a sudden, the management and employee union broke up leading to closure of the company.
Due to sustained labour problems, Premier Cables was driven towards stopping of operations. Eventually, winding-up proceedings were initiated as per Company petition No.2 of 1996 before the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala.
In 2003, the title was vested to Adlux Properties Pvt Ltd after successful bidding and subsequent due payment against tender invited and finalised by Official Liquidator, High Court of Kerala.
