The ultra-modern steel-and-glass building was designed by German-American architect Helmut Jahn as the Sony Center. It houses offices, entertainment venues, the Kaisersaal and Sony's European Headquarters. Built between 1996 and 2000, the glitzy steel-and-glass construction covers 4,013 sqm (43,195 sq ft).
