Inverhuron has 200 permanent residents and 400 cottages.
It's a popular tourist destination, known for it's spectacular sunsets and beautiful beach.
It has a rich history as well, established in the early 1800s as a landing point for Bruce Township settlers. An old Lime Kiln, used by pioneers has been preserved at the Lime Kiln Cottages.
From the 1920s through to the 1950s, Inverhuron was a summer hotspot, with a dance hall that hosted live music. With the establishment of Inverhuron Provincial Park in 1954, the town secured its place as a tourist haven.
