Built in 1960.
In 1962, it opened as Boarding School No. 2, later operated as an eight-year school, and since 1977 has been a full secondary school.

On August 20, 2025, around 04:20, the building was hit by an airstrike: FAB-250 bombs were dropped on the territory.
One of the bombs landed next to the main building: insulation was damaged, part of the roof was torn off, and windows were shattered.
Another explosion occurred in the inner courtyard.
The main structure of the building withstood the blasts, but the damage was extensive. This school remained the last intact school in the city — all other educational institutions had been destroyed since the start of the full-scale invasion.
