  • Buddhist Faith and Belief Statement I, the venerable Thich Giai Ngo, aka Minh Khac Ho, abbot of the Dai Bi Buddhist center (DBBC) hereby certify that the DBBC is a religious organization practicing the Buddhist faith in accordance with the cultural tradition of vietramese Buddhism. Established on january 16 2009. The Center‘s faith is to serve the communities of Buddhist practitioners in Wylie, Texas and vicinity. Our daily activities include the moming religious services which is normally reserved for the Sangha (community of monks and nuns), however lay people are invited to attend if they wish. The service normally consists of recitation and interpretation of the sutras (Buddhists criptures), practicing Zen meditation, praying for wellness for the sick, and performing memorial services for the deceased, delivering sermons and opening Dharma (Buddha’s teachings) discussions. The center provides religious services on Saturday and Sunday for lay people. The services can be either in the aftemoon or at night, depending on the need of the congregation. In addition to the regular religious activities, we conduct annual retreat sessions for the community, The retreat sessions normally last three to seven days, depending on the level of the practitioners. Thank You Minh Ho
