Enerhodar (Ukrainian: Енергодар) is the city in the Vasylivka Raion (district) of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast (region) of Ukraine, administrative center of the Enerhodar City Hromada (community).
Enerhodar is located on the left bank of Dnieper river near the Kakhovka Reservoir.

The city was founded on June 12, 1970 with the beginning of the construction of the Zaporizhzhia Thermal Power Station.
In 1972, it was named Enerhodar.
Since 1981, the construction of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant began. Now it is the largest NPP in Europe.

Population: 52,887 (2021), about 11,000 of them work at the nuclear power station.
