hamlet, draw only border
Ezaart is one of the twelve hamlets of Mol, Belgium and has a population of 3258 (as of December 31, 2010). De Hessie is the part of Ezaart that borders Geel. The name Ezaart, formerly written as Esaert, consists of two parts. The first part means hoarse, shrubbery, thicket. The second part stands for nature and means as much as communally used land. Put together Ezaart thus means a place with undergrowth.
