"Stonebridge" (Lake Bluff, Illinois)

Howard van Doren Shaw-designed manor house and carriage house c. 1915 for American Steel Foundries president William Kelley with landscaping by Jens Jensen. Later donated to the Catholic Church and then converted to hotel Harrison Conference Center. The 1950's era modern, more institutional additions (dormitory turned hotel rooms) to serve its prior owners were torn down in 2006 when it was purchased by developers planning to turn it into town homes (both the manor house as well as thru the construction of new homes for empty nester's).

It has since been demolished.
