Eindhout is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp and a sub-municipality of Laakdal. Eindhout was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1977.
Part of Eindhout belonged to the Land of Geel and this manor was successively owned by the families Berthout (before 1155-1366), Horne (1366-1484), De Merode (1484-1601), van Wittem-van den Berg (1601-1640), of Lorraine (1640-1761) and the Rohan (1761-1795). The patronage rights and the tithing rights of the church were ceded to the Abbey of Averbode by the Berthout family in 1252.

In addition to the aforementioned manor, Eynthouthamme also existed, property of the Abbey of Tongerlo.

Both parts were merged to form the civil municipality of Eindhout in 1808.

The former municipality of Eindhout merged with the municipalities of Vorst and Veerle in 1977 to form the municipality of Laakdal.
