This moderately high ( 148mts) hill which is situated on the West side of Rail Vihar used to have large number of hares, mongoose and other small animals, hence the name Rabbit Hill.Even wolf and python were sighted here during monsoon 2008.Due to continuous poaching and de-forestation, rabbits are rare now in this hill. Mark the nomadic Banjara shepherds occupying the foot hill in an illegal mining pit for grazing their sheep.
