This is a British fortress from the days of the Great Game between Great Britain and the Russian Empire. The fort is currently occupied by a British garrison. It is situated in Nad Ali (Nad-e Ali or Nahr-e Saraj) district center. Now occupied by British ISAF.

  • my name is Ahmad known as chris among the British soldiers and i have been working as an interpreter with the army since 5 years and have been deployed on many operations by ISAF .i was the first terp to enter FOB shaw kat with lima company 42 marines commando in 2oo7 .when we first entered that compound where shaw kat is now it was just a small hut but,now it is a haven for the people in it.
