The Church of Peace in Sanssouci Park in Potsdam is located in the so-called Marlygarten. At the request and under close involvement of the artistically gifted Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV, the church was designed by the court architect Ludwig Persius and built in the years 1845-1854.
