Larum is a church village located in the city of Geel. It is located west of Geel-Center.
Larum actually consists of three settlements: Larum, Rauwekoven and Velveken. Larum grew out of the hamlets of Binneneinde and Buiteneinde. These were each grouped around a square, with the Kattestraat connecting these squares. Perhaps older is Rauwekoven, which was already mentioned in 1292. Velveken was first mentioned in 1449.

In 1472 a chapel was built on the then redoubt. In 1858 a private parish church was established.
