Bel is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp. It is located in the city of Geel, east of the center.
Bel traditionally belonged to the area of freedom Geel, but while the rest of Geel belonged to the old diocese of Cambrai as Sint-Amands parish, Bel was certainly an independent parish in the prince-bishopric of Liège as early as the 13th century.
The landscape around Bel is protected.
It contains the "Belsveld", "de Belseheide", the dunes and part of "Belsbroek".
Also known for its annual Reggae festival “Reggae Geel”
