Wakefield Common - Wakefield, MA.
Wakefield Common is divided into two section.

The Lower Common is used primarily for recreation. There's a large plaground near the lake and Bandstand that holds concerts. In the early summer the common is the sight of a large Craft Fair. On the Fourth of July a fishing derby, sponsered by the West Side Social club is held.

The Upper Common where various memorials are located, such as the World War II and Civil War Memorials are located. In the Spring and Fall, dedication ceremonies are held for members of the armed forces here. In Winter the town holds a tree lighting ceremony. In the Northwest corner of the common the local Lions Club provides a small house for children to visit Santa.
