Longfield is a village in the Dartford borough of Kent. It is located four miles south east of Dartford and near Gravesend.

The place in Kent is recorded as 'Langanfelda' in the Saxon Charters of 964-995, and as 'Langafel' in the Domesday Book of 1086.

The town is served by Longfield railway station which is operated by Southeastern (train operating company) with services to London and the Medway Towns. The village also has a fairly large shopping area, consisting of a local baker and butcher, Waitrose, Co-op, Post Office, Lloyds Pharmacy, estate agents, hair-dressers, Longfield Kebab, Loon Fung Chinese, various Indian restaurants, Longfield Carvery and an antiques shop.
