Beautiful small village surrounded by hills. Also known as the 'Tiny Vatican' for the church that was built about 80 years back. With recent advancements the place has become urbanized.

It is a beautiful village. Beautiful houses. People are very nice. their hospitality very nice. Many people like this village. they are very pious. it is very neat and clean. There are more than 300 sisters and many Fathers. Three big schools in this village. They get district and state rank. In and around village students are use to come and study these schools. Every year they celebrate Our Lady of snows feast. I like this village very much. Many of friends are living in this village. Near by Surrili Falls, Thekadi, and vaigai dam. nice climat. Always cool. Thenmegu parva kattu theni pakam vesumpothu saral inba saral.
