Calbuco is a stratovolcano in southern Chile, located southeast of Llanquihue Lake and northwest of Chapo Lake, in the Los Lagos Region.
It started erupting on 22 April, 2015. On the 23rd a more violent phase started. Lva has reach the lake. Chile has declared a constitutional emergency.
