Location of the former Corona LIRR station, Port Washington Branch. First opened 1853 as 'Fashion Race Course', after the horse racing course in the area. Name changed to 'West Flushing', then 'Corona' in 1872, and new station built, but burned in 1880. White Line depot moved to the site in 1890, but it was razed in 1894. Fourth station then built, lasted until 1930 when the grade was raised. Elevated platforms in service until 1964, when the stop was eliminated due to low ridership.
