Luda Kamchia River Source

The river originates from a spring at an altitude of 1,109 m on the north foothills of Vratnik Peak in the Sliven Mountain division of the Balkan Mountains.
Many of the springs of the small upper tributaries of the river before the town of Kotel have been captured and their waters are used for the water supply of the town.
