KENT, a city in section 11 of McCauleyville, was named by officers of the Great Northern Railway company. This is the name of a county in England, counties in 5 states of the Union, and villages in 12 states. The city was incorporated as a village on November 22, 1904; the Great Northern Railway track was located one mile east, and many of the first buildings were moved here from McCauleyville; the post office was established in 1888. Kent is a city in Wilkin County, Minnesota. The population was 65 at the 2020 Census.
