Wisconsin Dells is a city in south-central Wisconsin, with a population of 2,942 people as of the 2020 census. The city takes its name from the Dells of the Wisconsin River, a scenic, glacially formed gorge that features striking sandstone formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River. Today, Wisconsin Dells is a popular Midwestern tourist destination, known for waterparks, amusement parks, hotels, resorts, boat tours, duck rides, golf courses, horseback riding, water sports, shops, museums, live entertainment and a casino. Wisconsin Dells is nicknamed the "Waterpark Capital of the World."
