The recently renovated temple here is Arulmigu Aalakaala Easwaran Thirukoil and His consort is A/M. Mangalambigai. This temple is around 800 years old and was fully ruined by passage of time. We formed a Trust, got it registered and with contributions from devotees we could fully renovate and add more deities to suit the followings of different sects, all within a period of just 18 months. Kumbabishekam was celebrated in December 2008. This temple is being visited by devotees from far and wide as prayers here are answered fully by Mangalambigai and Aalakaala Easwaran. We are in the process of adding more facilities for devotees, like erect a Kalyana Mandapam in the frontage of Mangalambigai sannathi.
