This end of the Septa R8 line was discontinued in 1983 when Septa stopped all Diesel powered rail lines in favor of an all electric service. Though no longer capable of passage, the old rails and station are still here. This station has been restored and converted to a private residence. www.newtownline.pa-tec.org (formerly www.r8newtown.com)
