Pioneer Court - Place for Temporary Exhibits (Chicago, Illinois)

USA / Illinois / Chicago / Chicago, Illinois / North Michigan Avenue
art -(to be removed, see EN descr.), sculpture, plaza

26-foot tall monumental sculpture "Forever Marilyn" by sculptor Seward Johnson, installed July 15, 2011 (till Spring 2012? when it will start a US tour).
Based upon the photo by Bruno Bernard, showing Marilyn Monroe’s character in Billy Wilder's 1955 movie "The Seven Year Itch" cooling off by standing over a New York subway grate, while the breeze blows her skirt around.
People can walk completely around and under the sculpture. It's already one of the most photographed attractions in Chicago.
