Historic bank which was designed c. 1906 by Mowbray & Uffinger with structural elements by the Guastavino Fireproof Tile Co. It was expanded in 1931 by Halsey, McCormack & Helmer and later by Leroy P. Ward.

The structure is being incorporated into the 9 DeKalb Avenue supertall residential development. The interior was used as a filming location for S2E3 the Amazon series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" when Mr. and Mrs. Maisel go with Joel for a bank loan.
