Engine House No. 5 was used as a station of the Fort Wayne Fire Department from 1893 until 1959. In 2004, the building was purchased and renovated to house the Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters Union - Local 124. The first floor is home to the union's meeting hall with offices located on the second floor.
