The area was redeveloped in 1990s to include outdoor theater that is surrounded by culture: an award-winning library, shopping, dining, a pond and gazebo, sculptures, gardens, a veterans park, the farmers’ market (each Friday, from mid-June to mid-October) and seasonable outdoor Open-air Holiday Market featuring craft vendors, food, and family entertainment.
