  • This was undoubtly one of the best place for basic education. While the teaching staff was average, the students somehow ended up much more successful. The wide range of extracurricular activities was also very helpful in the social and professional growth of most of its students, specially when they went to the professional colleges. I made a lot a friends here, and I still miss some of them. I make a point of driving by the school every time I am back in Nowshera. I graduated in 1984. Some of the guys I still remember are Faisal Durrani, Hadeem Fida, Adnan Khattak, Altamash Khattak, Fazal Khattak, Murad Durrani, Wassem Rehman, Abid Rasheed, Rab Nawaz, Shahid Rasheed, Shoaib Anwar....there are many more but they escape my mind now.   • I studied in FG public school from mid sixties to early seventies, I call it best time of my life, at that time the school used to be called as Cantt public high school. After studying Engineering from Karachi I moved to USA and did well professionally. Undoubtedly I owe a lot to this institution and to the great teachers of this school. Though I had few school friends with me in Dawood college of Engineering Karachi, unfortunately, I lost all my contacts from school days when I moved to US. The staff and administration was great at that time, I still have images in my mind of most of my friends and teachers including Mr. Khan, Mr. Bilgrami and our sport's teacher we used to call him "PT SIR". My prayers and best wishes for all of them wherever they are, they are all part of my life and will remain in my prayers. When I saw our school building on this site, I was kind of surprised,this is pretty much the same building that I saw last time in 1973, no changes, the only change I notice is that the big tree at the entrance of the play ground is not there and also the location (orientation)of cricket pitches is not the same, I played for school cricket team.
