Zehusice Castle

A Gothic fortress from the 15th century was during 1661-1679th reconstructed by the owner of the estate Count Michael Oswald of Thun-Hohenstein in early Baroque style. Large changes of the castle in Empire style were made before 1826. In the second half of the 19th century was changed an original French garden to the English park, covering an area of 25 hectares, known for its herd of white deers.
In 1913 bought Zehusice estate Vaclav Storme and until 1948 was held in a private estate. After the confiscation of the castle served until the end of the 80th years of 20th century as a local elementary school. After 1989 was the castle returned to Storme family, but today, without any use is slowly deteriorating.
