  • paid for by the citizens of Jackson County MO, as designed it was supposed to have a sliding "roof" that could cover either the chiefs or the royals stadium but the cost was considered to be too high so they deleted that feature. Very nice stadiums indeed, and both are currently being upgraded! Now..if only the teams would win a few games.....Arrowhead is used for rock concerts and other events when football is not played. Named for Kansas Citys own...President Harry S Truman..one of our finest presidents!
