Also known as Savannah Pioneer Cemetery and Savannah Memorial Park. In 1846, Henry Dalton, owner of Rancho San Francisquito, set aside two acres of his land for use as a cemetery when he found two graves on his property. The cemetery, possibly the oldest Protestant cemetery in Southern California, was formally established in 1850 and has been in continuous operation since then.
